VELOCIPEDE
rF Open Wheel Racing | Release Version 1.1 Copyright © 2007(8) Peters Motorsports | http://www.petersmotorsports.com download http://www.sendspace.com/file/pf854i Thanks to the people at iDT Simulations and MMG for much support in this project. ALL MODELS AND TEXTURES ARE NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE! DO NOT USE THESE MODELS FOR SPONSORSHIP PROPOSALS OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL USE WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION!!!!!! The files of this mod are not to be reposted, used for other mods, or any other alteration without permission. *cough* NROS.org! *cough* Installation: FIRST Delete if you installed 1.0!!! UserData\AiSetup GameData\ICS Extract all folders to your main rFactor directory. New Features in Version 1.1 - added fuel mapping settings for the 2008 car (mapped to incremental boost) for fuel mapping 1 is max hp and the hp decreases as the boost increases, but fuel mileage increases with each step (only 2 settings in 2007 - caution and green flag per IRL rules) You can chose to lean back your fuel to conserve in a long race, or you can run full rich and hope to out race everyone! See the 2005 Indy 500 for evidence of how Danica used the fuel settings to almost win the Indy 500! - Completely rebuilt Suspension File (indy_susp.pm). This should give the car more of a "feel" and should help with those of you who use RealFeel. - Adjusted Rev Limit range and possible settings in the garage (10,000 base and increasing up to 10,200 as you choose). - Updated car skin files for Ed Carpenter (2008), Justin Wilson (2008), Aj Foyt IV (2008), Scott Dixon "Energizer" (2007) and finally Davey Hamilton (2007). - Removed the "common" files that were overwriting default rFactor files in the 1.0 installer. - Mandatory Min/Max tire pressures for Speedways/Indianapolis per series rules. Left: Minimum 28psi Max 33psi | Right: Minimum 38psi Max 43psi Other notes: new vehicle and team folder structures new sounds new physics (tried to fix the "jerky" feeling when in low gears) more realistic speeds on superspeedways and Indy now able to go higher than 1999/1799 on springs (added around 10 more steps) Panoz has the Dallara physics with more drag but less "aero wash" as similar to real life Additional Info: This mod contains all paint schemes for the 2008 Season through Kansas and nearly 100% of the 2007 paint schemes. Paint scheme addons along with AI Calibration files for "Reccomended tracks" will be released through the season. The Pro Series portion of this mod will be released at a later date. Thank you for your patience! No tracks have been included with this mod, but for Homestead, Texas, Michigan, Kansas, Chicago, Infineon, Watkins Glen and Richmond I reccomend Stock Car Evolutions 2008 tracks. They are gorgeous! http://www.rfstockcars.com Motegi, Kentucky and Nashville will be released soon! Iowa - http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Iowa%20Speedway Indianapolis - http://theuspits.com/files/rfactor/tracks/...apolis_v1.0.rar Streets of St. Petersburg - http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=St%2E%20Petersburg Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course - http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Mi...707%20Revisited Milwaukee - http://www.mediafire.com/?dm005jblx5t Known Issues: Panoz mirror mapping still needs work, and graphical updates to the Panoz model continue including a better cockpit. Known issue with suspension being in the wrong position at times. This is a physics issue we continue to learn. "Default" setups specified in the HDV file have not yet been implemented. Base setups for many tracks are located in \UserData\AiSetup\rfOWR\2007\IRL and can be copied into the respective Settings folders (rFOWR extention).
