We used slimjims karts as a base (we asked for permission, don't rip me to shreads here haha). I have modded it for weeks apon weeks, getting the engine and tire files correct to get the real feeling of an Intercontinental A kart (ICA) The ICA class is one of the top karting categories in europe, they run 100cc 2-stroke motors, that normally rev 18-20 thousand RPM. The kart tracks we us, can be found at www.rfactorcentral.com Remember, this is only beta #9, and we will have further updates for when version 10 comes out. Hope you all have fun, and enjoy! ALSO! Make sure you choose one of the 4 motors in the upgrades, if you dont, you get an 'unbuilt' motor (very slow haha) ICA V9 List ----------------- Skins- All Current Members now have a skin. Helmets that were sent into me, are now painted and in game. Teams- Arrow Kart Birel CRG EKS Fernando Alonso Kart First Kart Ital Kart Kosmic Maranello Margay Merlin Monaco Sodi kart Tony kart ------------------ Physics 4 different motor files, Parilla, Vortex, Maxter, TM Motors now rev up like they are supposed to. If motors are over-revved, they will blow up. Maxter- Mid range RPM engine (pulls good from 11-15k rpm) Parilla- Bottom end RPM engine (pulls good from 0-10k rpm) Vortex- Bottom end and Top end RPM engine (pulls good from 0-10k, bad from 11-15k, then good again from 15-19.5k) TM-Top end RPM engine (pulls good from 15-19.5k) New tires- added grip to rear tires, now able to run over curbs. Bugs ------------ Crash bug- still there, cannot figure out how to make it stop crashing when someone joins the server Sad (doesn't happen all the time, just on occasion) Furtue Features ------------ Sounds- found some good sources for sounds, look for them in V10 Improved physics- getting better day by day, hopefully the communities imput can improve the physics. Crash bug- i really have no clue what is wrong here, we think it may be the way the model was put in the game.. anyone have a clue why it would crash? New model- we are working on a new model for the Eurokart-Sim ICA mod, featuring the new age bodywork (seen on CRG's, Maranellos, GP's), the Freeline bodywork (seen on older CRG's, and Birels). The KG bodywork (seen on just about every other kart). We will also include the new rear bumper used in CIK-FIA karting. Credits --------------- Slimjim- Base for the mod.
