Un aggiornamento.

Hey all, long time no see. How is everyone doing? I thought I'd come in amid all the work I'm doing these days and give you all a small report on the happenings of the mod. Things are progressing well though a bit slower due to some of our commercial product obligations taking some of our time away but the good news is that the classic cars are going into rF1 as we speak. rF2 requires more time to get things done, animations and other features which do take more time so we thought we'd add the cars in rF1 and produce a beta for you all to enjoy while the rF2 version is being done. We will also be looking at making a SEPARATE add on for the rfe wet weather mod for those of you who use that mod and wish to use it with our mod. It won't come in the default mod package as we don't want to force rfe on anyone who doesn't want it, instead, we'll make the rfe compatibility files for those who want to add it themselves.

For the rF1 version there is a chance that we may release the Mazda 787B in the first open beta as modding rf1 is easier and faster then rf2 where we have to do it in packages. So I look forward to keeping you up to date and having an rf1 beta of this mod out to you guys at the soonest possible time.

Stay tuned!

P.S: For those of you who cannot access our site/forums, we are performing a server upgrade which can take a couple more days due to the nature of the upgrade. We hope to see you back there once its all back up.

Hey all, thought we'd show another model which will be coming into the Classic Cars mod. This addition to the mod is for all Australian's who remember this series. The early 90s Australian Touring Car Championship is considered to have provided some of the best racing in the series. A time when the series was not just about Holden and Ford, a time when drivers could build their cars and come in and race as independents. 2013 brings the old habits of the ATCC back to the world and we felt it was fitting to bring back these classic cars from which the multi manufacturer entries ended. For some this may not be considered a classic series for the championship, but for Australian's its as classic as the old Group C ATCC cars, some of which will make it into the mod as well.

The 1993 Ford EB Falcon shall be included in its iconic Shell Helix Dick Johnson Racing livery driven by Dick Johnson and John Bowe as well as the Peter Jackson Glenn Seton Racing livery which was driven by the 1993 ATCC Champion Glenn Seton and ex F1 champion Alan Jones.

We hope you enjoy the screens below.

Petros Mak:

Sorry for the long pause in info. We've been slammed with work on the prototype for WRS and some other stuff that we had to get done. Good news is that our in-game guy is back from his trip with his company at Autosport and is working on the mod into rF1/rF2 again. We are looking for additional hands to help with putting cars in game. We need someone with more time.
Aside from that, the mod is progressing well albeit a bit slower then we would like. We have a number of cars we could get in already but not enough hands and rf2 takes a ton of time to get things in game and right. So anyone interested in helping, send me a private message.
In regards to the release physics, they will be in a base form. The aim is to include the community and see what the general consensus wants in regards to physics. We won't be able to please everyone but by acquiring feedback, we can determine what is the most desirable path to take in regards to the physics. At first physics will be just a base, driveable and how we feel they should be like, and then we'll read what all of you have to say and update accordingly.
All our future mods will be done this way with open beta's and updates in order to allow the community to have more involvement in the shaping of the mod which they ultimately want to enjoy. I hope that answers your questions. I'm hoping to post some in-game shots very soon. We're just fixing various bugs right now.

Hey guys. So its time for another update. My apologies for the delay, I had my router die the other week and didn't get back to full schedule until yesterday.

Well one of the best news I have to say is that we've hired two new in-game specialists. For those of you who don't know what that means, in-game specialists are people who know how to take a 3D Vehicle model from 3DS Max and place it into rfactor or rfactor 2. The two newcomers who will be named in the near future have started work on adding our cars into rf1 and rf2. This is a great boost for us to get these mods completed and released in open beta's.

We also have a number of cars we haven't shown to you all that will be released. Work on the new website was slow during my down time but has since resumed. I am hoping to have the new website open by the end of next week. The new website will include far more details about our mods, a new gallery and wallpapers section, some more interactive content as well as our discussion forums which we hope you will all join. We will have a brand new email newsletter system which will provide styled email newsletters with important news and info you may have missed out if you don't visit often.

Things have started to pick up and we're looking forward to providing some new in-game shots for you all very soon!

As a special announcement, I am proud to say that we will also be releasing several 1994 F1 cars in this mod. The cars are being re-vamped because the models were done many years ago but are for the most part still great and only need some minor updates. You can expect Williams, Ferrari, Mclaren, Benetton, Lotus and Simtek which are models we have completed and painted in the past but are touching up and re-mapping with new methods so they're easier for artists to paint their own skins on. While these are not so much in the classic nature, the 1994 F1 season is the most remembered season in the history of the sport. We felt it would be a shame for the models to go to waste so as an extra, they will be added to this project.

As to MAK-Corp news. I am happy to say that the Mazda 787B and Sauber C11 model fixes have been made. The Mazda 787B has been given to ADUBZ to put the car into rFactor 2. ADUBZ has posted on the ISI forums that he plans to show off some screenshots this weekend so we're quire excited about that.
Once the car is completely in-game it will be up to Derek and Petros Mak (me), to develop the alpha physics to make it ready for the first closed beta before it is given to the public for the open beta stage. This doesn't initially take long when we get to that point. We will keep you up to date with how it progresses from here on out.

The Sauber C11 and the Porsche 962C are currently being mapped by the UV Mappers. Once completed they will be given to the painters to develop the liveries and interior textures and then those too will be placed in game.
We are coming closer to having these cars released and we're looking forward to sharing them with you all once they are ready. Be sure to stay tuned for more news on these.

F1 2008 Mod for rF1 is still progressing with some final areas being worked on, we're looking forward to completing and releasing it and then moving the cars over to rf2.
As for our new website, its progressing well and should be open soon. I'm working hard to get it done as fast as possible. The new site will feature mod info's, galleries, wallpapers, renders and various events with prizes given out to winners within the community that enter. So I'll keep on working on and will keep you all posted on progress. Thank you all for your continuing support.

Greetings all. Courtesy of the hard work done by ADUBZ and the rest of the team, we are happy to provide a preview shot of the Mazda 787B in rF2. This screenshot is taken by ADUBZ after working really hard to put the car in game and doing a wonderful job at it too. The team is working on some more things and we'll be releasing more in-game shots very soon along with some nice renders for you all to have as wallpapers.

The skin is done by Nigel Phelan who developed not only this but other skins from the 1991 Seasons that were featured on the mazda and will be shown in later screens.

Ionut Nicolaescu created the model with touch ups and updates done by Dmitriy Barishev.

We would like to wish you all a Happy Easter and hope you enjoy this teaser screenshot.

Thanks ADUBZ!
