Guest Uff
This is the predecessor to TPSCC v2.0. We decided to release it as a beta due to the Daytona 500. However, it's pretty much 90% complete, there will be a new cockpit in v2.0 and a few other things. This has a highly-realistic version of the Car of Tomorrow, detailed modeling, new physics, paintable wings & splitters, paintable wheels & engines, and much more! As well, Brian and Jerry have put together JaxBR...an updated superspeedway to replace last year's 'Florida'. However, please note that all older TPSCC tracks still work with no modifications at all. TPSCC v1.9.3b installs completely separate of v1.1, there will be no problems with running both mods side-by-side. TPSCC v1.9.3 IS completely separate, however...it should not be though of as an 'add-on' to v1.1, due to the differences in cars, physics, etc. Please note that hi-res carsets and cup carsets are not yet available, so keep checking The Pits for those updates. Templates will not be made available until v2.0 (due to a few more changes with the mod). Stay tuned for v2.0, but in the meantime, enjoy our beta of TPSCC v2 on the weekend of the greatest spectacle in racing! NOTE: TPSCC is part of the TPSCC Series. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=TPSCC v1.9.3b http://www.thepits.us/files/rfactor/mods/tpscc_v1.9.3b.exe
VELOCIPEDE
TPSCC v2.0 Released mirror 1 http://www.thepits.us/files/rfactor/mods/tpscc_v2.0.exe mirror 2 http://www.megaupload.com/it/?d=51UGD4G2 I'll keep this part short and sweet. This is version 2.0 of The Pits Stock Car Championship. What does it include? 1. Updated Physics. 2. Updated 3d models and 2d graphics, including all new cockpit. 3. Various user changable options (check out the upgrades area). What is still to come? 1. Paint templates. They are almost ready, but not quite. 2. Some additional graphics updates. 3. Sprint Cup based car pack. 4. Other 2d graphics templates. Same as the paint temps, almost ready. What do you need to know? 1. Setups from previous releases will have to be changed. 2. Along with the 8 gauge layouts for the cockpit, there are 8 more available by changing the .veh file (see the 76 Impala and 55 Fusion). 3. Stock Cars may not have headlights, but why waste a perfectly good button (a template will allow you to tweak this as well)?
