La FIA ha svelato oggi l'entry list del FIA World Touring Car Championship 2008. Ventiquattro piloti appartenenti a tredici Paesi, in rappresentanza di cinque diverse scuderie - BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, LADA e SEAT - parteciperanno all'intera stagione che prenderà il via la settimana prossima con il WTCC HSBC di Curitiba, in Brasile.

L'ultima aggiunta è stata quella della russa Bears Motorsport che sarà presente con due vetture LADA dalla terza tappa di Valencia. Tra le "new entry" ci sono il vincitore del Campionato Turismo di Turchia, Ibrahim Okyay, e il russo Andrey Romanov. E' la prima volta che un pilota turco e uno russo partecipano a tutte le gare della stagione di un Mondiale FIA. I cambiamenti più rilevanti in termini di line-up riguardano la N. Technology e James Thompson che passano dall'Alfa Romeo all'Honda, mentre Rickard Rydell torna alla guida della SEAT Sport.
