Per chi non lo conoscesse, il simpatico Lucas Ordonez è il ragazzo che nel 2010 ha vinto il torneo di GT Academy organizzato dalla Sony con Gran Turismo 5: grazie proprio a quel trionfo, Lucas è diventato un vero pilota, dimostrando più volte il suo valore in pista persino nel difficile campionato Intercontinental Le Mans Cup con la sua Nissan. Oggi il prestigioso network Speed TV gli ha assegnato addirittura il titolo di Rookie dell'anno!
Despite facing limited competition, it didn’t stop Ordonez from making a lasting impression in the ILMC paddock. And it not only turned out to be a brilliant marketing exercise for Nissan, but also a genuine success story for a virtual racer turned pro in the matter of a few short years. That’s why there was no question in awarding Ordonez with SPEED.com’s “Rookie of the Year” honors for the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.
