The world´s fastest international one-make series starts its eleventh year as support to the Formula 1 World Championship. Since 1993 the Supercup has run as support to the European Formula 1 rounds, with the first overseas race being added to the calendar in 1999. In September 2000 over 200,000 spectators witnessed the Supercup at its US premiere in Indianapolis. Eleven rounds make up the 2003 racing calendar – ten in Europe with the season final again at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, USA. In true tradition, the 2004 season takes off at the first Grand Prix on European soil in Imola (I).
