This carset aims to represent the 2000 season in modified
racing for Nascar Racing 2003 Season. This season was
filled with excitement as Jerry Marquis and Reggie Ruggerio
fought for the title.
Me and Justin did this project with our own free time, and
hope others will enjoy it. It is not meant to be exact down
to every decal, but you will find that much of the carset
is correct down to each contingency. The only reason some
cars are inaccurate are because of the lack of pictures.

The carset contains:
-The top 20 in points at the end of the 2000 Featherlite
Modified season.
-Detailed Pit Crews for each car.
-Specific driver ratings that provide close racing and a
realistic experience.
How To Install This Carset

To first use this carset you must own "Nascar Racing 2003
Season for the PC. You must also have the excellent Whelen
Modified mod provided by SImodified.com.
1. Extract the .zip to your
C:/papyrus/Nascar Racing 2003 Season/Series/Whelen/Cars
folder.
2. Start the game and chose the FMS2000 list.
3. Go racing and enjoy.
Known Issues
______________________________________________________________
1. All of these cars are relatively fast, because they were
the top 20 in points. You won’t have any cars that will be
lapped a lot during a race because these cars are rated like
they were, and these guys were the best of the best. After me
and Justin finish some other projects we hope to make another
10, or maybe 20 cars to make this set complete to what a full
size field for a race would be.
2. Not all of the body styles are available for the mod, so
cars had to be made on a different carshape then they
actually used.
3. Some of the cars paint schemes may be slightly inaccurate
due to the lack of photos from the 2000 season.
4. The #21 car's number is wrong on the roof and passenger
side. I had sent this away to be fixed, but have lost touch
with the Justin who does the numbers, so that is incorrect for
now. Hopefully the expansion I plan to include will fix that.
5. The chrome rims look white. This is just how they look in
game and there is nothing I can do about it.
