baronesbc

Cmq fa sempre bene ricordarli

Cmq fa sempre bene ricordarli Nel suo intervento precedente lui intendeva che bisogna smanettare nella cartella ini del controller, sopratutto "Steering torque filter":4, "Steering torque filter#":"Number of old samples to use to filter torque from vehicle's steering column (0-32, note that higher values increase effective latency)", "Steering torque minimum":0.04, "Steering torque minimum#":"Minimum torque to apply in either direction to overcome steering wheel's 'FFB deadzone' caused by friction", Ha detto anche di installare il plugins dei pedali per vedere se il volante va in saturazione altrimenti perdi tanti di queei inputs fondamentali per sentire l'auto. Tr51
 ..."paradossale" T'ho ciapa : -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Logitech Support Specialist DF GT Pro/G25/G27 Setup GuideAcronyms1. FFB (Force Feedback)2. Pippo (game sim)3. O/S (Operating System)4. LGS (Logitech Gaming Software)5. DoR (Degrees of Rotation)Problems this guide is sets out to resolve* FFB regarding tyre grip and weight transfer feels numb* Steering feels a little unresponsive* Little to no FFB on bumps or drop-offs where the steering should feel “Light”(Light refers to the decrease in steering drag as the tire/surface friction is reduced due to physical forces on the car as the track surface changes elevation. Think of a car going over a jump or having the front wheels lifted off of the surface - the steering becomes very "light" or easy to turn.)* No feeling of grip-loss during braking or over-steering* Feeling of low brake power* Effects of Input LagBenefits* Fine control at high speed and course control at slower speeds when turning hardFine control is for the central point of wheel travel. This accelerates the further the wheel rotates thus allowing you to use a relatively low physical rotation probably around 180 - 200 degrees either side of centre.FFB in many wheels works best at and around the centre but to do this many use low degrees of rotation so they have fast responsive steering, the BIG downside to this is very poor accuracy and precision often oversteering into corners ( a good sign the Steering lock is too high) as well as exiting. ( a good sign that there is too low a degree set in the Profiler)Course control can apply to a number of areas, steering being the main one. This is effected by 4 variables:* Steering Degrees of Rotation. ( LGS AND In Game )* * Steering Sensitivity (LGS AND In Game)* * Steering Lock ( In Game ).* * Special Steering Wheel Settings (LGS)Some Games/Simulations are good at accessing Special settings internally in the LGS that drives FFB which is why virtually no spring effect is used, nor should it be used unless absolutely necessary. So you can now see that with careful tuning this can be made much finer where it needs to be courser at the extremities WITHOUT resorting to reducing the DoR. Just because you have 900 DoR in LGS and 900 DoR in Game DOES NOT mean that you need to crank around on the wheel like a demented hamster.Tuning of the Throttle and Brake can also reap benefits not readily apparent. If you use any of the Logitech Wheels then you:* MUST run the Logitech Profiler Software* MUST create a Global Profile and then a separate Profile for EVERY race Sim you run so that settings are never mixed* MUST tune the Axis settings to give you MAXIMUM Steering and Brake and MINIMUM Throttle sensitivityI have found that the reason that way too many Sim-players have issues with the Logitech Wheels is because they simply do not understand how the Profiler Software works so they cannot benefit fully.Create Global Device SettingsGo to: Logitech Profiler > Options > Global Device SettingsApply these settings:Setting Value Overall Effect 115% Spring Effect Strength 50 % (Spring effect is not needed due to the way modern Race Sims work BUT you should set this just the same) Damper Effect Strength 150% Enable Centering Spring in FFB Games Ticked Centering Spring Strength 50% Degrees of Rotation 900 (IMHO It's a bit pointless having a 900 degree wheel if your not going to use the fine steering control offered by it) Allow Game to adjust settings Do NOT Tick! (i valori riportati sopra non sono un "Dogma" ...sono da perfezionare a sensazione personale, ma danno molto l'idea di base)IMPORTANTDo NOT Allow Game to Adjust Settings is where people go wrong! If a game is allowed to change something in the Global Profiler (Base Settings) and then you go to "Pippo" for instance, the Controller.ini file is opened. What it remembers doesn't match with the last settings stored in the Global Profiler’s (HIDDEN) settings. You chase your tail and can't understand why the Wheel isn't behaving properly. So now you know, NEVER never rely on the one Global profile for sim racing. You may blame the Game / Simulation where in fact it is your wheel doing what it was told because you allowed it to.The Global settings are just that, Global, and what every subsequent Custom Profile uses as a base to work from, similar to the Global Profile in the Nvidia Application Panel whereby game executables have over arching individual game variables / settings.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.--.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-Create a profile for Pippo; Give it a Name and Edit itGo to: Logitech Profiler > Profile> New > then “Name, Create and Associate Profile with Pippo.”Go to: Edit > Specific Game Settings> Apply these settings:Setting Value Overall Effect 130% (This is a percentage of the 115% set in Global. If you want things a little stiffer then increase this to 140% or to your preference.) Spring Effect Strength 0% Damper Effect Strength 150% (Adds drag to the wheel and helps prevent over correction and smooth’s out your input) Enable Centering Spring in FFB Games Ticked Centering Spring Strength 0% (The reason for this is it allows the actual cars camber and camber settings to influence the way you FEEL the road - if this is un-ticked you will not feel this accurately) Use Special Steering Wheel Settings Ticked Report Combined Pedals (User preference. For some Sim PCs and setups this may cause issues , it is designed for Wheel Pedal combo's that do not have a clutch, It is more a game preference some Game/Simulations require it some don't.) Degrees of Rotation 900 (Recommended) Use Special Game Settings Ticked (See comment below) Allow Game to adjust settings Ticked. (These two are very important as this allows the game to alter settings INTERNALLY into the Profiler that we cannot see in the GUI) Note: The Damper setting is for gravel Mud and other areas that provide additional drag on the Wheel , it also assists you in NOT over reacting and thus over correcting in some situations. Additionally It also has no effect of how fast you can turn the wheel but it does help by providing some measure of resistance that we don’t get because we are not connected to road wheels.Note: Adjust Centering Spring Strength to your user preference. Between 0-5%.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.Create Custom Controller Settings for SensitivityCreates Individual Input Settings, Custom settings for Sensitivity, Range and Dead Zone in the Pippo Profile.Steering Wheel Settings Value Sensitivity 100% Dead Zone 0% Range 100% The reason that 100% is set here is to give you a logarithmic steering as possible with quick responses around the center, still precise yet greatly accelerated deflection the greater the turn. This allows a smaller degree of lock thus finer steering in the center with a greater amount at the extremes of steering input, very closely replicating the variable steering racks used in modern race cars.Note: Adjust Deadzone to your user preference. Between 0-5%Accelerator Settings Value Sensitivity 0% Dead Zone 2% Range 100% The reason that 0% is set here is to give you the smoothest throttle transition from partial throttle response to full, varying the sensitivity WILL NOT change the amount at Full throttle just how fast you get there thus 0% is much smoother.Note: Adjust Deadzone to your user preference. Between 0-5%________________Brake Settings Value Sensitivity 100% Dead Zone 2% Range 100% Note: Adjust Deadzone to your user preference. Between 0-5%The reason that 100 % is set here is to give you the maximum Brake response available and allow you to turn down the In-Game settings only.Note: Adjust Deadzone to your user preference. Between 0-5%( come sopra , trovare a seconda della sensibilità) Fatti, non P****tte !!! Edited July 31, 2014 by Tr51
jakobdylan
