I am working on a car commercial at the moment, so my development on the 458 GTC will stop for another 2 weeks

La 458 è schifosamente bella. Il modello è fantastico.

Peccato per l'effetto "vernice opaca" degli altri screenshot. Secondo me perde moltissimo...nel primo screenshot, in versione bianca lucido, migliora notevolmente.

Mazda SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY- Arnold at work.

Some of the WSGT2 fans might have noticed that there where no WSGT2 updates recently.

The main reason for this was due to the fact that we all got occupied with private matters.

One of the most important reasons for this silent period has something to do with the Video shown here.

Arnold had to finish work on the Mazda SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY Commercial. Modding is a hobby, and will have to be put aside from time to time when the real work needs priority. As expected he did a fine job. Now the video is ready, work will start again on the Ferrari 458 GTE.

Klaas has also resumed work on the LM 94 Le Mans Racer. Expect some previews soon.

As far as myself and Rick are concerned we continue work on the overall graphics and sound.

The last few days, we did talk allot about the future of the mod, and the choices involved. The mod and sim scene is rapidly undergoing changes we might have to take in account. In the end of the day, it will be wonderfull news for the WSGT2´s Future.

As usual, all is well at RMT.

WSGT2 - WR LM94 Templates & Textures ready.

Hi everyone,

It has been a while since we have posted some previews of the WSGT2 mod project., so here we go for a little update.

Time has been a factor within the team the last few months, but that does not mean there is no progress.

While Arnold is doing some work on a Lotus, i worked on the templates and textures for the model Klaas is working on. As some may know, Klaas is a vivid Classic Le Mans fan, and therefore he loves his Le Mans prototypes.

He builded the WR LM94 that participated in the 1995 edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans.

The two cars, entered by Welter Racing locked out the front row but both cars did not finish the race.

In contrast to most of the cars we’ve made, which are mostly big manufacturer outfits, Welter Racing is a real amauteur outfit. They represent the true spirit of the Le Mans 24 hour race.

As usual, all is well at RMT.

WSGT2 - WR LM94 Templates & Textures progress

Hi everyone

While Klaas is working to get the WR LM94 into rFactor 2, its a good time to show you some more progress shots of the cars.textures and template. At this time i am focussing mainly on the cockpit. Its still pretty much WIP, but it starts to look as if its going in the right direction. You can expect some ingame shots early next week. Arnold is buzzy on the Lotus cockpit and preparing for a small RMT side project involving a very special car we all love on the real racing track, and had some oportunity to get some real live team support from them..

A chi si chiedeva se lo sviluppo del mod fosse cancellato, un membro del team ha risposto così.

Just a rumour.

We haven't made much progress with the mod on the rF2 engine yet though. We have a few cars ingame but we're not really committed to finishing them as long as a lot of rF2 features are not finalized yet. There's no point in working on things like shaders now if we have to redo them at a later date because they've changed. Right now we're just waiting to see which direction rF2 is doing and how it improves, while also evaluating other options like Assetto Corsa, before we can make more in game progress. Any progress we make now is in the modelling and texturing department, which we can use for either game engine.
