VELOCIPEDE Posted September 11, 2008 Share Posted September 11, 2008 It has been a long time since we have given news about the progress of the Endurance Series mod. Here are some. After the release of the Epsilon Euskadi mod, we've made 2 decisions. First, releasing the mod in packs and concentrating on 3d models and not on championships. And in addition to put all our models at the same quality level of the Epsilon. So some models have been redone from Scratch (Porsche 996, Ferrari F430...), some others heavily improved (Corvette C6...). The quality is now much better. In parrallel we have modeled several other cars (Porsche 997, Radical LMP2, some pictures of the new cars below, the other ones u already know them ) who are now finished, some will be included in the v1.0. We are now working on correcting several small bugs, making some remappings, and working on cockpits which are still our main activity at the moment. The Physics have made exellent progress too and are well advanced for all the categories. We are working on finetuning them at the moment. the cars will include real life tyres or 2hrs race tyres, adapted for the league championships. The mod will include LM physics aero specs too. About sounds, the major part of the field is complete, and it is now more a details work. We still cant give now a list of features of the v1.0, most of the 3d models will comes from 2006 cars, but there will be some from 2007 and 2008 too.
