A SUBSTANCIAL number of changes have gone into this version, it is NOT backwards compatible due to the directory/file changes. So you'll have to uninstall version 1.4, but don't worry...even though we do not put uninstallers into our installers, Mianiak has created a script that you drop into your rFactor directory, double-click on it, and it will uninstall the older version...as well as leave your carsets, so you can keep your cars.nagt_v1.4_uninstaller.rar [781 Bytes] The reason for the file changes is that we finally figured out how to keep rFactor unique as a mod with its own multiplayer car, spinner & menus, but still allow it to be used with the "All Cars" rfm in rFactor. So now you can finally create your own multi-series with an rfm file. Due to all of these changes, we have re-uploaded the older carsets with the correct veh changes, or if you go down into the v1.4 carsets, you'll find some very small downloads of just the veh files to correct your older carsets if you don't want to download the new ones. Note that this will NOT correct older cars that are not from The Pits. See the download page for all of these files. We've got a new C6 bump map (thanks to John Graf) that incorporates changes made to the Corvette template. The Aston has been updated a little bit, and the Porsche has some MAJOR changes that renders old paintschemes obsolete. However, in the template pack is a Porsche v1.5 upd template, that will allow you to correct your older paints fairly easily...I got it down to about 3-4 min per paint. There is also a Porsche update carset that fixes the older Porsches found in the earlier carsets. As well, Mildrew allowed us to post his updated Viper sounds for GT2 and we've modified them to overwrite the current Viper sounds so you can try them out as well. They sound great! Back up your old viper.sfx file just in case you decide to stick with the installed sounds. Here are the major changes that have gone into v1.5...
