Your song selection is used to generate a station that will play similar music. Your song will be played eventually, in the mix with lots of other great music. Q: Why is Pandora playing artists that I didn't explicitly request? When you create a station from an artist, we search the Music Genome Project for information about that artist's music. Then we find other artists and songs that have similar musical qualities, so that we can play you a continuous stream of music. We'll play some songs by the artist you entered, but part of the idea behind Pandora is to introduce you to great stuff from other artists that we think you'll like. bragi Posted December 18, 2005 Share Posted December 18, 2005 è semplicemente geniale e, soprattutto, perfettamente realizzato. permette alla gente di scoprire gruppi e canzoni che, probabilmente, non avrebbe mai nemmeno sentito nominare (a meno di non browsare i related artists di allmusic.com), ma, soprattutto, permette loro di mappare questo "genoma musicale" (pure col trade mark) a seconda del tuo feedback (che sei libero di dare o non dare) e, quindi, dei tuoi gusti. è come una radio (infatti hanno una licenza per farti ascoltare solo un tot di pezzi all'ora), in + sembrerebbero ben foraggiati da jobs e amazon. la cosa straordinaria (come tutte le cose fatte come si deve sul www) è che stanno mappando i gusti del pianeta, e stanno collegando tra di loro gli attributi di singole canzoni. sono ancora con un database relativamente limitato ma basta aspettare. straordinario, veramente bravi. ps: io ormai ce l'ho attaccato allo stereo di casa (tanto strimmano altissimo) e, di tanto in tanto, passo e lascio il feedback pps: mi chiedo che banda abbiano a disposizione.. cose apocalittiche. poi, comunque, l'applicazione bufferizza tantissimo. non so. è roba fatta veramente bene.
