Jaap Wagenvoort
After almost 4 months of work, nkChampionship is ready for its first public release In short, nkChampionship delivers: * Organising online netKar championships very easily * LiveUpdater: Full automatic storage of laptimes, positions, results, points, standings, statistics. Data is automatically transferred from the netKar game to the database by using the LiveUpdater package of nkChampionship * LiveTracker: A system that shows information on the current race and the current session, refreshes automatically and displays realtime information on the drivers, positions, times and gaps.. both for qualifying and the race. It also displayed the chat messages, which have been divided in messages from racers and messages from the Race Director (who can impose drive-throug penalties, stop-n-go penalties et cetera to drivers who cause incidents). All this can be followed online by spectators... right at the moment the race is taking place! * Connected to nkTracker: results from the events are automatically updated in nkTracker as well * Customise the championship and layout to your own preferences. Think of name, rules, colors, fonts, points system * Add and maintain an unlimited amount of leagues in the championship * Add and maintain an unlimited amount of seasons per league * Add and maintain an unlimited amount of events (official and unofficial) per season In short this is what nkChampionship offers. You can see version 0.9.9 beta working here: http://www.van-den-hoogen.nl/nkchampionshi...s.php?menu=home The application is not available for download. The source code will, for now, be distributed only to serious championship organisers who want to set up a championship using netKar, the great racing simulator. Championship organisers who want a copy of the whole application have to contact me (Jaap Wagenvoort) by e-mail: jaap@gpchampionship.com. nkChampionship 0.9.9 beta is designed to work with netKar 0.9.9 beta and nkDeamon 0.96. I'm looking forward to your replies and hope that nkChampionship will support, contribute to and improve the structured online racing with our beloved racing sim all over the world. Guest Denis Breznik
This looks really good. One thing that still bothers me is collisions. Is there no collision detection?

Jaap Wagenvoort
Thank you, guys! Remember to just e-mail me to get the whole application. daf, thank you for putting it online @ nkzone.com. If nks3tchallenge is interested to use the software to better organise the races (and have the whole world watching the races as they are driven!), just let their admin contact me and they will get the whole package. I have included a readme.txt that explains all steps to be taken to get the application up and running and I am always available for helping out in case of problems. Denis, is your question about collision detection regarding nK or nkChampionship. There is collision detection in nK. nkChampionship has nothing to do with collision detection. nkChampionship simply is a tool written in PHP to help organising netKar championship and to process as many functions completely automatically. Found it out myself anyway. When In pits i was able to drive trough my friend so tough there is no collision at all but once we meet on the track boom lol. I'm thinking on running a series with F3000 at www.fonol.jolt.co.uk or letting it run by someone lol. but dont know if i could find alot interested drivers so im still holding back with mailing you about nkc. Are there any existing leagues out there?
Guest Zykon Mancs
Hi Jaap! Does nkChampionship support any other cars (eg. Supra), or it works only with F3000? Maybe it's an old question , but not for me Thx and respect, Mancs!
Jaap Wagenvoort
Hi Jaap! Does nkChampionship support any other cars (eg. Supra), or it works only with F3000? Maybe it's an old question , but not for me Thx and respect, Mancs! 209432[/snapback] Hi Mancs. Good question. Championship organisers can select all cars available to host leagues. Even multiple cars per league are possible (but not preferred I think). So you could make with the F3000, a Mini league or a Mini and Supra combined league. The limit is defined by the creativity of the championship organiser Denis, there are leagues out there, but they all are having a tough time to grow. CVGPinfos is a French league that acquired, installed and is using nkChampionship already. Their league is available here: http://cvgpinfos.com/netkarb/latest-news.php?menu=home Also, GPChampionship.com will host one or more nK leagues in the future.
