Jaap Wagenvoort
Thanks for the explanation, max2! I agree with Palmer and think that things are not looking bad for netKar! The current version allows great racing already and lots of developments are going on: * New + great tracks * nkDeamon/nkTracker * nkChampionship nkChampionship is progressing very nicely. Maybe I will create a public preview this weekend We must stay positive and just accept the present situation. Enjoy what we have and let's just be thankful that we have version 0.9.9. Guest palmer-jp
nkChampionship is progressing very nicely. Maybe I will create a public preview this weekend Hi Jaap, it's great news. We nK fan in Japan are going to begin F3000 championship soon. I want to use nkChampionShip, when it is released to us. There are information from me: I abandoned improvement of nkDaemon. I'm developing nkService now. nkService provides the information of nK server and the controlling method as XML data on HTTP protocol. User can see XML data that is translated by XSLT using Web browser. Administrator customizes XSLT and can choose information to display freely. Software developers can use raw XML data without XSLT translation. A part of XML data will become the following formats. Please don't forget, this is prototype version. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?> <nkService> <object name="system" desc="System"> <object name="date" desc="Date">Fri, 02 Jul 2004 04:42:16 GMT</object> <object name="product" desc="Name">nkService</object> <object name="version" desc="Version">0.1</object> <function name="login" desc="Login" /> </object> <object name="server" desc="Server"> <object name="name" desc="Name">Palmer's nkServer</object> <object name="running" desc="Running">0</object> <function name="start" desc="Start" /> <function name="stop" desc="Stop" disabled="1" /> </object> </nkService>

Jaap Wagenvoort
I can speak for GPChampionship.com, which is an international simracing community. We are currently testing netKar in order to start an online league in the future. At the moment there are some 50 drivers involved, among them some of the best simracers with GPL/GP3/GP4 like Klemen Furlan, David Greco, Christian Neumann, Mickael Taloc, Haiko Benthem, Fernando Rees. Things ARE looking good! We just need to keep believing in netKar! I want to believe! max2, many thanks for sharing your thoughts in this "International" rather than "English" forum

Guest palmer-jp
Hi max. First, when you called me by ICQ few days ago, I was sleeping. Sorry How many nK fans are in Japan: The active users are about 10 persons. The community of nK hardly exists in Japan. I think it is from problems in the multiplay, few information etc. We will begin F3000 championship in Japan by 8 persons, for deciding the rule first. Ciao. Guest mickyknox
Excellent work Jaap, I really hope you realise the the lack of posting in this forum does not reflect the lack of support/appreciation for your work Keep it up, Simon
